Patient procedures and guidelines

When you're going into a hospital visit, knowing what to expect can help to calm your anxiety and pave the way for an easier experience. That's why our team at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center wants to walk you through what you may need to know before you ever step through our doors .

Patient registration

Our Patient Registration Department welcomes you as a patient. The main admitting area is located on the first floor of the hospital, just inside the main entrance. It is open for registration from 5:30am until 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Remember you also have the option to register online before you arrive at the hospital.

Our registration hours

  • Endoscopy Center:  6:30am - 3:00pm
  • TriStar Health Diagnostic and Imaging Center:  7:00am - 4:30pm
  • TriStar Medical Plaza Brentwood: 7:30am - 5:00pm

Outpatient appointments

To obtain an appointment for outpatient services please call (615) 695-SCAN. The Central Scheduling staff will work with you and your physician to arrange your appointment at a time convenient to your schedule.

Emergency department

The emergency department is open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. In addition to taking care of emergency patients, this department registers all after hours admissions and patients who need outpatient testing.

If you are visiting a patient or will be expecting visitors as a patient, please read over our visiting guidelines, which are in place to protect the privacy of patients and to provide a restful, healing environment while allowing patients the comfort of welcomed visitors.
