HEART Awards
Every quarter, staff are recognized for serving patients and their families. HEART Award recipients are nominated by their peers, or even their patients, for demonstrating extraordinary efforts and displaying a positive, energetic and respectful attitude.
HCA Excellence in Nursing Our parent company, HCA Healthcare, rewards our TriStar Southern Hills nurses for living out or company mission and providing the highest level of care to Davidson County.
Every year, two nurses from our hospital are selected for providing compassionate care and mentoring their colleagues.
Compassionate Care Award
The Compassionate Care Award recipient demonstrates patient-centered care and serves every person they encounter with empathy and kindness.
Professional Mentoring Award
The Professional Mentor Award recipient is an advocate for their peers, demonstrating servant leadership and coaching nurses or ancillary team members. Also, they inspire fellow nurses to pursue continuing education or growth opportunities, all while being a sounding board providing advice from their nursing experience.
